High Performance Series: Envelope Design Considerations

Energy Advisors are seeing a wider range of wall, roof and foundation assemblies than ever before, and much of what circulates about them is perception rather than fact. This interactive session works through a typical net zero ready envelope component by component — attic and roof, walls, foundation and party walls — asking at each step how the performance target is actually met and what to look for on site and in the drawings.
Bring your questions: CACEA’s subject matter experts will take on the common myths, from breathability and exterior insulation to acoustics and under-slab detailing. This is a discussion, not a presentation, and it covers the envelope only. Expect to leave with facts you can take to your builders.
