Initially formed in the early days by a group of concerned volunteer energy advisors in response to the BC Step Code, the group recognized that Energy Advisors across Canada had similar concerns and needs. With an ever-changing landscape and increased demand for EA expertise, there was a need to form a national organization to promote and support EAs and facilitate relationships with stakeholders in the building and energy sectors.
