High Performance Series: Air Tightness Layer
October 30 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm EDT
Air leakage accounts for 40–50% of a typical home’s energy loss — yet airtightness remains one of the most misunderstood and contested details on site. Join us for an informal panel discussion with technical leaders as they compare inside versus outside air barrier systems, unpack real costs and callback risk, and tackle trades resistance head-on. Panelists will bust the “airtight house can’t breathe” myth, discuss radon and Ontario’s code uncertainty, and explore how energy advisors can move beyond testing into a true advisory role.
This event is open to CACEA™ and CHBA members only, at no charge.* CECs = 1.5
*If you are a CHBA member but not a member of CACEA™, please reach out to us at info@cacea.ca to receive the registration code.
