Registered Energy Advisor (or In-Training) – New Home Construction

EnerTech Solutions Ltd. is pleased to announce a career opportunity for a Registered Energy Advisor specializing in new homes.

Priority will be given to candidates who are officially registered as NRCan Energy Advisors (EAs). If you are not currently a registered EA, we encourage you to apply, provided you are willing to work towards passing the energy advisor exam, with internal training available.

Candidates should possess knowledge of new home construction and have relevant experience on construction sites. A background in engineering or building science is advantageous but not mandatory.

At EnerTech, we uphold values of transparency, integrity, quality, and accountability. The role of the new home energy advisor involves daily communication with both EnerTech clients and team members, and the position will entail a combination of field and office work throughout the year.

Key responsibilities include building energy modeling, conducting blower door testing, performing air leakage investigations, and completing official building code reports.

Please note that the successful candidate must be able to safely lift 50 lbs, which is approximately the weight of the blower door equipment. A valid driver’s license is also required, and a company car will be provided.
