DESCRIPTION:Most Energy Advisors read a window label for two numbers: U‑value and solar heat gain coefficient. There is more on that label\, and more behind it\, than most realise. \nThis session covers what changed in NAFS 2022 and how it flows into the 2025 code — the separate air infiltration levels are gone\, and Article 9.36.2.7 introduces a cap on solar heat gain that varies by region — along with the reasoning advisors will need when a building official asks. It then turns to the labels themselves: how a proper label is built\, what a fraudulent one looks like\, and what producing them involves for manufacturers.
